Playlist Presentation

In this fourth stage of the Music and… Playlist, you will present a portion of your playlist to the class during the last week of classes and final exam period. The slides by themselves should be submitted to Blackboard as a Powerpoint file by 11:59pm on Sunday December 11.

Music and… Playlist Presentation Guidelines

Your presentation should consist of the following:

  1. Around 7 minutes of talking and 1 minute of music
  2. At least four slides
  3. Embedded audio and/or video for two of your playlist entries (Youtube or mp3)
  4. A screenshot of your full playlist compiled on Spotify, Youtube, Apple Music, or any other format

Your presentation should discuss the following information:

  1. Your playlist topic
    1. How it relates to music
    2. Why you find the topic interesting
  2. Two entries from your playlist
    1. Social, cultural, or historical background
    2. How the piece relates to your topic
    3. A musically interesting moment (featuring musical elements vocabulary)
